Tax Effective Giving
Tax Relief Scheme - Make your donation go even further for Cancer Care West. Did you know that Cancer Care West can claim back donations from the Revenue Commissioners each year?
As a supporter of Cancer Care West your donation of €250 or more in year could be worth more to us - at no extra cost to you. All you have to do is complete the tax form by ticking the relevant tax bracket, and then just date, sign and return the form to use - we can then make our claim.
What donations qualify for Tax Relief?
If you are a PAYE taxpayer, donations over €250 or more in any one year are eligible. You don't have to make this in one go - donations are cumulative so a direct debit or standing order form of €21 a month will bring you over the threshold. Early in the new year we will send you the appropriate form that Cancer Care West need to claim back the tax. If you are self assessed or a corporate tax payer you can claim back the tax on your donation.
