Inis Aoibhinn
Providing a home-from-home environment for our guests, Inis Aoibhinn has been designed to promote an atmosphere which is calm, relaxed, pleasant and supportive for everyone using the facility – residents and guests alike. There can be great comfort knowing that you or your loved one will be staying so close to the hospital where Radiotherapy treatment is being received.
Inis Aoibhinn allows for complete resident privacy and independence while also having dedicated nursing and support staff on hand to provide practical and emotional support during your stay with us.
Full access to support services
Inis Aoibhinn residents and their families have full access to all the emotional and practical support services which are offered in our Galway Cancer Support Centre which is located within walking distance of Inis Aoibhinn.
There is no charge for any of the services provided at our Cancer Support Centres.

During Your Stay
Along with providing residents with ‘home from home’ accommodation during their stay at Inis Aoibhinn we also like to provide a little entertainment every now and then.
Inis Aoibhinn is located a short distance from Galway city centre and from the promenade at Salthill.
With its great mix of festivals and events, there is always something interesting going on in Galway and our staff will be happy to have a chat about things to do during your stay.

Inis Aoibhinn has 33 ensuite rooms which have facilities for a resident’s family member or friend to stay.

Home From Home
All bedrooms are internet accessible and have direct dial telephone, television/DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast, light lunch and evening meals provided for residents.
Car parking facilities are also available on site.
Residents are booked into Inis Aoibhinn by a referral made through the Radiotherapy Department at UHG.
